- Integrates with any waveform
- Enables several waveforms in one terminal
- Integrates with different hardware platforms
ghSatConnect is a software platform for managing several different waveforms on one hardware platform providing a universal interface to the application using a satellite connection. Software Defined Radio (SDR) is a technology that enables several waveforms to run on the same hardware platform. One SDR hardware platform can substitute a number of traditional radio implementations, reducing size, weight and power consumption. And furthermore, it allows easy switch between satellite systems.
- Connect your application to any satellite system without changing your application
- Let your customer select satellite system
ghSatConnect provides an application interface, USAI (Universal Satcom Application Interface), which is agnostic of the satellite system used. The USAI is based on TCP/IP supporting Software Defined Networking. Control is provided through a RESTful interface and data connection via NAT or PPPoE. USAI implements the functionality needed to run any waveform, manage connections and network interface, providing services like SIP and messaging protocols.
